OESAA Announces new sponsor of Autoinform
Elsewhere OESAA has announced that Euro Car Parts (ECP) is supporting AutoInform Live, the innovative technical and hands-on training event being held in Wolverhampton next month.
The leading car parts distributor – with more than 190+ branches nationwide – is sending 40 delegates to the interactive weekend which is being held at the state-of-the-art GTG Training Academy in Wolverhampton on November 28 & 29.
Euro Car Parts CEO Martin Gray said the company would be bringing customers and key team members to the event.
He said: “We plan to invite technicians and garage owners who are customers of our branches in the area, plus some of our management team to attend over the two days. We see AutoInform Live as a natural extension of the training activity we have already carried out this year.
“We’ve invested significantly in customer training this year and have provided 1400 training places over the country, working closely with some of our major suppliers including OESAA members Schaeffler, Bosch and ZF.
“We are committed to providing high quality training and are looking forward to what we believe will be a very successful event.”
OESAA Chairman Nigel Morgan, Managing Director of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd, owners of the LuK clutch, INA tensioner & FAG wheel bearing OE brands, said: “We are delighted that Euro Car Parts has come on-board. We think it is vital that independent garages get the right hands-on training and we are all determined to make sure that this year’s AutoInform Live provides the best possible environment for technicians to learn skills from the companies that make the original equipment parts they fit.”
OESAA promotes the benefits of fitting original equipment (OE) parts and is the driving force behind the event, which is organised in conjunction with the UK’s leading technical trainer Frank Massey to provide visitors with a ‘Hear it, See it and Touch it’ experience.
Hella is newest OESAA member
It recently announced that Hella has become the 14th company to join the group and will participate in AutoInform Live.
Hella supplies advanced technology and first-rate quality components to vehicle manufacturers for everything from large-scale volume production to the small scale assembly of specialised vehicles.
The company says its longstanding commitment to R&D and years of experience makes it a reliable partner and supplier of innovative lighting and electronic products for the entire vehicle industry, from passenger cars, commercial vehicles, caravans & motorhomes, power sports, marine and mining through to E-Cars.
Hella’s UK Managing Director Matthew Say said: “We are delighted to join forces with other like-minded businesses as part of the OESAA group. It’s evident that by working as a group we have more chance to support the independent garage and the end consumer.
“As part of a global company with sales of €6bn, we invest a significant percentage of our sales into research and development to ensure a high quality product with complete technical support for our customers. Hella will support OESAA shows, literature and training events in the future.”
AutoInform Live will give exhibitors the opportunity to carry out detailed, hands-on training on live-running vehicles up on ramps.
It will provide delegates with live on-vehicle training, demonstrations and diagnostics, IMI certified courses, troubleshooting tips and business know-how from industry experts, advice on how to repair and replace the latest OE parts using the best tools for the job and fit and forget technology.
Training modules provided will cover chassis, business acumen, diagnostics, electrics, engine, filtration and transmission – all delivered by the leading trainers in their field.
Full weekend tickets are now available, which include a gala dinner, but there are also full weekend tickets excluding the dinner, and single day tickets on offer.
