GYS, the highly regarded French manufacturer of crash repair equipment, including welders, riveters, dent pullers, induction heaters and ancilliary equipment is exhibiting at Automechanika, Frankfurt this week.

Represented in Ireland by Shop Bodyshop Direct, GYS is showcasing its popular seller, the Gyspot PTI Evolution Spot welder, which is ideal for welding high strength steels such as UHSS/boron, with a clamping force of 550daN with 8 bar of air pressure, and a welding current up to 14 500Amps. Its C clamp integrates a high-tech transformer and the machine also brings a solution to limited power supply issues, as it works on a 400V from 16A to 25A power supply.

GYS is also well known for its MIG / MAG Welders. The T3 GYS Auto DV 230 is a three phase MIG-MAG, with torch connector, recommended for welding steel, stainless steel, aluminium and for MIG brazing of high-tensile strength steels with CuSi and CuAl wires (ideal for car body repairs).
