BM Catalysts, a leading manufacturer of aftermarket catalytic converters, DPFs and front pipes, has further boosted its investment in resources and the latest technology to meet the ever-increasing demand for its products to cover the evolving vehicle car parc.
The company says that it has recently made a “significant six-figure” investment in new additional hi-tech machinery to help further increase productivity and capacity, and in its research and development of new-to-range parts.
This boost in capital comes after BM Catalysts recently unveiled its third UK factory to aid the supply of products to the UK, Ireland and European markets.
The company states that this purposely developed facility in Stoke has enabled it to increase its manufacturing capacity and help get products to market as “quickly and efficiently as possible”.
Mark Blinston, commercial director at BM Catalysts, said the firm is seeing “significant increases” in the demand for its products.
“Customers recognise that quality, range and availability continue to be the most important attributes when it comes to selecting a supplier for hot-end emissions control products – and we want to ensure we maintain our industry-leading reputation in this sector,” he said.
“We know the growth that is coming in this sector and our investment will help to ensure we can meet market demands. Not only are we investing in our manufacturing processes, but we’re investing more than ever in the development of new-to-range references,” Blinston added.
BM Catalysts says that its manufacturing and warehouse facilities allow it to maintain stock levels of up to 65,000 parts, covering 90 per cent of the European car parc, while also developing up to 300 new-to-range parts each year.
The BM Catalysts range is available in Ireland from Top Part, who will be exhibiting at this year’s Auto Trade EXPO, which takes place from Saturday and Sunday, October 15-16 at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
